The Skipagata Centre is situated downtown Akureyri, Iceland´s third biggest town, often referred to as “the capital of the North.” Akureyri is renowned for it´s natural beauty and cosy atmosphere. Some of Akureyri´s best restaurants are in a walking distance from the Skipagata Centre. Akureyri is a popular tourist attraction with it´s fascinating landscape and is one of the country's best ski areas. Akureyri is 388 km from Reykjavik. Air Iceland flies between Reykjavik and Akureyri several times every day and the flight only takes 45 minutes. Air Iceland also offers direct domestic flights between Keflavik International Airport (KEF) and Akureyri. This centre has 15 closed offices in various sizes and two meeting rooms. The larger meeting room can at least cater 20 persons in a standing reception. The centre is about 5 minutes drive from Akureyri Airport.
