Kobe is one of six major Japanese cities which developed as an Asian seaport. Heavy industries like shipbuilding, steel, and machinery are based here to form the heart of Hanshin industrial zone, which later grew into a leading industrial city in Japan. Global industry giants are still headquartered here in Kobe. The city is also aggressively introducing industry-academic cooperation as seen in medical industry initiatives, venture development, investment promotions and so forth.
Located in Isobedori 1-chome, you can reach there by getting off at Sannomiya or Kobe-Sannomiya station and by walking towards the Port Island area for 10 minutes. From Port Liner's Boeki Center station, it is only a one minute walk. Public offices like city hall are located here also. With good access to the expressways and abundant parking spaces, parks and the sea port in the background, it is a good area to set up your Kobe office.
