The Munich Laim Centre occupies three floors of a state-of-the-art building in the Laim district of the city. It enjoys stunning views from the building's two roof terraces and office balconies across to the 291m high Olympic Tower in the city's Olympiapark, constructed for the 1972 Olympic Games. Many radio and TV stations broadcast from the tower, and Munich has a strong media industry. The city is ranked fourth in the world for jobs in the IT, software and communications sectors and is home to more than 20,000 hi-tech companies. The Munich Laim Centre has restaurants and coffee shops nearby, there is secure parking, and it is on a major road, within walking distance of public transport links, including the main train station with direct trains to the the airport.
